• Every IVT student has to be registered in NCTVE, Chandigarh.
• Enclose the required certificates with registration form.
• Tuition Fees has to be deposited at the IVT either in cash or Bank draft. The IVT will issue you the receipt. Admission Fee, Registration Fee and Examination Fee should be paid to IVT through Bank draft drawn in favour of "National Centre for Technical & Vocational Education", payable at Chandigarh. The IVT will issue you the receipt.
• Study Material shall be provided by the NCTVE from time to time in English medium depending on availability. Reference Study Material in the form of textbooks shall be made available on cost basis.
• Certificate shall be issued after fee clearance and after the receipt of practical & assignment marks at the NCTVE, Chandigarh from the concerned IVT alongwith the project report.
• Fees once paid is non refundable.
• Each registered student shall be provided with an I-card.
• All the students are required to do their practicals in the presence of their teachers only.
• Age Limit : Generally there is no upper age limit for registration to courses. The lower age limit is 15 years.
• Flexibility in Examination : You can avail six chance to appear in the public examination spread over a period of three years.
• Please obtain a receipt for any amount paid by you at your IVT.
• For exact dates for Registration/ Admission, & Registration for Examination, Commencement of examination and the Date Sheet of Examination consult your IVT.

Once you are registered with an IVT that becomes your centre for all intents and purposes, you keep in touch with the IVT for any information you need or any solution to the problem you face.
