The design and implementation of B.Sc. (Computer Science)
offers new challenges when compared to the traditional
computing environment. The recent emergence of global
business, new technologies for data processing and data
communication / networking environment, equip specialized
science graduates to focus on professional careers in
Information Technology. The B.Sc. (Computer Science) program
has been developed to provide the students with adequate
theoretical and practical knowledge which will enable
them to effectively participate in solving the complex
problems of the IT industry. PRIDE's Computer Science
programs intend to equip graduates with the knowledge
and skills required to contribute to the vital area of
Information Technology.
Primary objectives of this program
Eligibility For Admission
Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the
Degree of Bachelor of Computer Science shall be required
to have passed the Higher Secondary examination with Mathematics
or Business Mathematics or Computer Science (Academic
& Vocational Stream) as one of the subjects or any
examination considered as equivalent there to by the syndicate,
subject to such condition as may be prescribed therefore.
Duration Of The Course
The course duration shall be three years, Examination
will be conducted after completion of every year.

Passing Requirements
A candidate shall be declared to have passed in each paper/practical
wherever prescribed if he/she secures not less than 40
percent of the marks prescribed for the examination. He/she
shall be declared to have passed the whole examination,
if he/she passes in all papers and practical wherever
prescribed as per the scheme of examination and qualified
for the degree.
