to Register
Registration in NCTVE courses is done throughout the
year. The academic sessions are July to December and January
to June every year. If the student takes admission in
mid session he will have to complete one year or six month
as per courses before taking a regular examination.
General instructions for taking admission in NCTVE's
Vocational programmes are given below.
Candidate is advised to ensure his/her eligibility before
filling in the form. If any eligibility criteria as per
prospectus has not been fulfilled, he/she is advised not
to submit the form and remit fee. Otherwise fee, if remitted,
will be forfeited without any intimation to him/her.
Send the duly filled in Registration Form given at the
end of this prospectus with required certificate within
the stipulated time. Enclose a Demand Draft of Registration
Fee Rs 250/- in the name of "National Centre for
Technical & Vocational Education" payable at
Chandigarh.
Note that the Registration is valid for a period of 2
yrs. only. If a student fails to clear his/her course
within this time frame, he/she would be required to re-register
paying the Registration and Admission fee once again.
Some instructions to fill up the Registration Form are
as follows:

Each student will be registered only
on a numbered registration form, obtainable from IVT.

Select the category of courses given
at the top right side of the form.
- Column (1) requires that you fill up your name in capital
letters.
- Column (2) requires that you fill up your father's
name in capital letters.
- Column (3) requires that you fill up your mother's
name in capital letters.
- Column (4) requires that you fill up your complete
address in capital letters. Fill up Address, Village/Town/City,
District, State, Pin Code and e- mail address correctly.
- Column (5) requires that you fill up your date of birth.
First two boxes are for date, next two for month and the
last four for the years. Attested copy of certificate
as proof of date of birth should be attached with the
Registration Form as proof of date of birth of the candidate.
- In column (6), give your telephone number with STD
Code.
- In column (7) to (11) tick the appropriate box. Take
care that your tick does not overlap two boxes.
- In column (12) please declare whether your father,
mother or yourself is govt. employee.
- In column (13) please write the course you have opted
for.
- Do not forget to put the date and your signature.
- The boxes given at the bottom of the form on the left
and on the right are for IVT USE and for NCTVE USE respectively.
- The filled up form in original has to come to the NCTVE
A photocopy will be kept by the IVT.
- Affix your passport size photograph on the filled up
form before sending it to the NCTVE.
- If you are opting for MICE/N.I.O.S./University Courses,
please fill up the declaration form also, in addition
to the NCTVE registration form and send it to the NCTVE
along with the registration form.
- The student is responsible to obey rules regulations
of the MICE/NIOS/University. The MICE/ NIOS/University
rules and regulations are additional to ours.
